It’s a brilliant effort to glorify the Communist party and it’s legacy, but at some point, it misses the right recipe. I still have a doubt why they used the term Mexico for the title. The director tries to convey some message, but due to the lack of a strong script and a poor character development, the first half fails to show that Tovino is the lead role and not Neeraj. The somewhat pacing second half tries to raise our spirits by sparkling dialogues, but still lags behind. Performances of Roopesh Pithambaran and Neeraj Madhav must be specially noted. Movie is expected to collect more than 5 crores in just four days.

The main plus of the movie is it’s realistic visuals. A commendable job by the camera department. A brilliant performance by Tovino Thomas, Neeraj Madhav and Roopesh adds a ton weight to this gritty political thriller. The supporting characters have done complete justice to their roles. As a keralite, studying in a govt college and being involved in campus politics is part and parcel of life. And when it is shown in screen, it will attract huge crowd to the theatres. Big congratulations to the director and team for giving us an out and out entertainer.
